Welcome to AI Receipts to Excel. By using our application, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Description of Service
AI Receipts to Excel is a utility application designed to help users organize paper receipts and extract financial data into structured spreadsheets using a combination of local on-device heuristics ("Groot Mode") and cloud-based AI processing ("Jarvis Mode").
2. Data Ownership and Privacy
- Ownership: You retain full ownership of any receipts, images, or extracted data you import into the application.
- Privacy: Your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy. We do not store your receipt images on our servers beyond the immediate processing window required for AI extraction in Jarvis Mode.
3. Accuracy of AI Extraction
- Disclaimer: While we utilize advanced AI models, data extraction is not 100% accurate. Factors such as image quality, lighting, and complex receipt layouts can affect results.
- Verification: You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of all extracted data (including merchant names, dates, amounts, and tax figures) before using such data for accounting, tax, legal, or financial purposes.
- Liability: Loman Apps shall not be liable for any financial discrepancies, tax errors, or legal issues resulting from incorrect AI data extraction.
4. Premium Tokens (Jarvis Mode)
- Consumables: Jarvis Mode requires consumable tokens purchased via Apple’s In-App Purchase system.
- Refunds: In accordance with standard App Store policies for consumable items, token purchases are generally non-refundable. Once a token is consumed to initiate an AI scan, it cannot be returned.
- Balance: Tokens are tied to your authenticated identity (Apple, Google, or Microsoft sign-in).
5. Third-Party Services
The application provides optional integrations with Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive.
- You agree to comply with the terms of service of these third-party providers.
- We only access the specific files and folders you explicitly select for import.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law in Australia, Loman Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or financial loss arising out of your use of the service.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the application following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
